Tasha Osborne

BSc.N, MN, LLM 

Director, Heart and Vascular Program

Tasha is the Program director for the Heart and Vascular Program. Combining 20 years of clinical practice as a registered nurse, education, teaching and leadership within healthcare, she is leading transformative change and innovation in team work within the Program. Prior to her current role, Tasha was the Director of Medical Administration at Trillium Health Partners assisting the Chief of Staff in meeting the obligations of the office and advancing the Strategic priorities of the organization. 

 

Tasha specialized in the practical application of the Public Hospitals Act and related Health law to contribute to the creation of excellence in patient outcomes and safe and healthy workplaces. Tasha holds a Master's of Nursing in Adult Acute Care Nursing from the University of Toronto and a Master's of General Law from Osgoode Hall Law School with a specialty in health and labour law. She is recognized for her passion in understanding the law as it relates to the delivery of health care services and the obligations of acute care hospitals. In addition, Tasha is cross-appointed as an Adjunct Lecturer at the Lawrence S. Bloomberg Faculty of Nursing, University of Toronto.
