The coolest things I've done in my career are:
-
Co-built a suite of study databases in Microsoft Access that integrated with Microsoft Outlook and Word for a multi-site, randomized controlled trial. Embedded error message pop-ups with Zelda references.
-
Designed and a executed a study that examined the correlation between frequent video game play and cognitive performance and the differentiating effect of platform preference (mobile versus console/computer platforms)
If I could have a super power it would be:
I love eavesdropping on public transit, so it would have to be super hearing abilities.
I'm a "closet" fan of:
Internet memes. My favourite is Potato Jesus.
The nerdiest thing I do in my spare time is:
I name my plants and obsessively document activities/new recipes/travel/breweries in an excel spreadsheet. With letter grade ratings. And colour coding.
Three things still on my bucket list are:
-
Run a marathon
-
Grow my own vegetables
-
Drink a Trappist beer in a Belgian monastery brewhouse
My past experience includes:
I graduated with honours from the Bachelor of Arts Psychology program at Ryerson University in 2014. Shortly after that, I started as a research Analyst at the Centre for Addiction and Mental Health, where my main responsibility was to coordinate a 5 year, multi-site randomized controlled trial with the Borderline Personality Disorder Clinic.
I spent 3.5 years at CAMH and helped to build the trial from the ground up, which was an invaluable learning opportunity for me. I started with LKS-CHART in March 2018 and am helping to coordinate the mounting number of awesome projects undertaken by this team.
My recent projects and insights include:
-
Determining the Size and Skill-Mix of a Nursing Resource Team
-
Early Warning System for General Internal Medicine (GIM) Patients
-
Predicting Discharge Disposition and Length of Stay Following TJA
