Amol Verma

Amol Verma is a Phillipson Scholar in the University of Toronto Department of Medicine Clinician-Scientist Training Program and an Interdisciplinary Fellow with the Canadian Frailty Network. He previously completed residency in General Internal Medicine at the University of Toronto as well as a Master's degree in Economic and Social History at Oxford University as a Rhodes Scholar.

He is conducting a research fellowship based at St. Michael's Hospital under the supervision of Professor Muhammad Mamdani in Health Data Science and Leading Learning Health Systems. He is co-principal investigator of the GEMINI study, which is a partnership of 5 healthcare organizations that is focused on using electronic clinical data in order to improve the quality of care for hospitalized general medicine patients.
